Primrose Marble Console Table 140 cm – Antique Gold

Primrose Marble Console Table in Antique Gold

The Primrose marble console table combines natural stone with a handmade iron frame finished in antique gold. Its slender proportions, pale marble and warm metallic detailing create a refined piece suitable for living rooms, hallways and entrance spaces.

At 140 cm wide, the top provides generous space for a table lamp, vase, books or selected decorative objects, while the additional lower shelf allows the arrangement to remain organised without overcrowding the marble surface.

Natural Marble with Individual Character

The light marble top is a defining feature of the Primrose console. Natural veining, tonal variation and subtle irregularities mean that each piece may vary slightly in appearance, giving the stone its individual character.

These variations are part of the nature of genuine stone rather than imperfections. The pale surface works particularly well with neutral upholstery, natural timber, glass and darker finishes elsewhere in the room.

Handmade Antique Gold Iron Frame

The iron structure is handmade and finished in a warm antique gold tone. Its slim geometry gives the console definition without competing with the natural movement of the marble.

The softer metallic finish can be echoed through lighting, mirror frames, cabinet hardware or a small number of decorative objects. This creates continuity without requiring every metal finish in the room to match exactly.

Console Table with a Lower Shelf

The additional lower shelf provides useful space for books, decorative boxes, trays or larger objects that remain part of the overall composition. It also helps keep more of the marble top clear, allowing the material itself to remain visible.

With a depth of 35.5 cm, the console maintains a relatively slim profile and can sit comfortably against a wall where a deeper cabinet or sideboard would occupy too much floor space.

Gold Console Table for Living Rooms and Hallways

The Primrose works well as a console table for a living room, entrance hall or hallway, and can also be positioned behind a sofa where the proportions allow. Its 140 cm width gives enough scale to sit beneath a larger mirror, artwork or a pair of decorative objects.

In a living room, the console pairs naturally with upholstered seating, marble, timber and glass. In an entrance space, it can create a considered focal point while providing a practical surface for selected accessories.

How to Style the Primrose Console Table

A taller table lamp can be balanced with lower decorative pieces such as books, a bowl or a sculptural object. For a more symmetrical arrangement, the console can also support a pair of lamps or two larger decorative elements placed at either end.

If a mirror or artwork is positioned above the console, keep the styling relatively restrained. This allows the marble surface, metalwork and proportions of the furniture to remain part of the visual composition.

How to Care for the Marble Top

Clean the marble with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Wipe spills promptly, particularly coffee, wine, citrus juice and other substances that may mark natural stone.

Avoid acidic cleaners, abrasive products and harsh detergents. Use protective pads beneath lamps, vases and heavier decorative objects to reduce the risk of moisture marks and scratches.
