Chiswick Large Bronze Aluminium Vase 37cm – Sculptural Patina Finish

Chiswick Large Bronze Aluminium Vase – Sculptural Decorative Design

The Chiswick Large Bronze Aluminium Vase has a distinctive flattened silhouette, gently rounded sides and an irregular opening that follows the natural curves of its sculptural form. Made entirely from aluminium, its surface combines warm bronze tones with darker mottling and subtle green-grey patina effects, creating the appearance of beautifully aged metal.

Measuring 37cm in length and 33cm in height, the vase has a broad, organic shape that looks as considered without flowers as it does with a simple arrangement of decorative stems. Its textured finish catches the light differently across the surface, revealing variations in colour and depth that are particularly striking when viewed up close.

Rather than relying on an elaborate pattern, Chiswick Large draws its character from the relationship between its unusual proportions and richly weathered metallic finish.

Textured Bronze Vase with an Aged Patina Finish

The surface is the defining feature of this decorative aluminium vase. Warm bronze and darker metallic tones sit alongside irregular patches of muted green, giving the finish a layered, weathered appearance.

The subtle variations in colour emphasise the vase's rounded body and softly uneven contours. Where the light meets the raised areas, the bronze becomes more pronounced, while the deeper sections retain a darker, more subdued character.

Although the finish recalls the natural ageing of metal, the mottled patina is part of the vase's decorative design. It introduces the appearance of age and texture without sacrificing the clean, contemporary quality of the overall shape.

Made from 100% aluminium, Chiswick Large offers an alternative to traditional ceramic and glass vessels, particularly in interiors where contrasting materials play an important role.

A Sculptural Vase for Console Tables and Sideboards

With its relatively shallow 15cm width and wider 37cm profile, Chiswick Large is particularly suited to console tables, sideboards and deep shelving. Its flattened form creates a strong silhouette when viewed from the front, making it an interesting choice for display against a wall or beneath a large framed artwork.

Positioned on a dark wooden sideboard, the bronze finish introduces warmth while allowing the variations in its surface to remain visible. Against pale marble, travertine or a light stone-effect console, the vase becomes more pronounced, creating a contrast between smooth surfaces and the richly textured metal.

The design also works well with neutral interiors. Cream upholstery, woven fabrics and natural timber provide a quieter setting for its irregular metallic finish, allowing the vase to become a focal point without the need for additional decorative objects.

For a more layered arrangement, combine Chiswick Large with a lower ceramic bowl, a small sculpture or a carefully chosen stack of books. Leaving space around the vase will help preserve the impact of its distinctive shape.

How to Style the Chiswick Large Decorative Metal Vase

Chiswick Large works particularly well as a standalone decorative object. Its irregular opening and sculptural body make the vessel interesting from several angles, even when left empty.

For a botanical arrangement, consider a small number of dried or artificial stems with loose, natural shapes. Slender branches, seed heads or textured foliage can add height without concealing too much of the patinated surface.

The vase can also be paired with the smaller Chiswick design, allowing the contrasting sizes to create a coordinated display. Placing the two pieces slightly apart gives each silhouette room to remain visible while creating a connection through their shared finish.

Chiswick Large is intended primarily as a decorative vessel. Unless water resistance has been confirmed by the manufacturer, use it without water or style it with suitable dried or artificial stems.

Its combination of organic form, textured aluminium and aged bronze tones makes Chiswick Large a distinctive addition to a living room, hallway or study, whether displayed on its own or as part of a carefully arranged collection.
