Chesham Stone Top Side Table with Oak Base

Chesham Stone Side Table – Natural Materials and Sculptural Form

The Chesham Stone Side Table combines the quiet elegance of natural stone with the warmth and texture of oak. Its rounded proportions and sculptural base give the piece a refined architectural character, making it a considered addition to contemporary living spaces.

The circular stone top is finished in a soft, light-toned palette with subtle natural variation across the surface. This gives each piece an individual character while keeping the overall look calm and understated. The stone works particularly well alongside timber, bouclé, linen, brushed metal and other tactile materials commonly used in layered, neutral interiors.

A Refined Side Table for Sofas and Armchairs

Measuring 51 cm high and 50 cm in diameter, Chesham is well proportioned for use beside a sofa, armchair or chaise longue. The round top provides enough space for a lamp, books, a decorative object or drinks, while remaining compact enough for smaller seating areas.

The base is crafted from oak, with three shaped supports creating a strong geometric silhouette beneath the stone top. The visible grain of the wood softens the overall composition and introduces a natural contrast to the smooth surface above.

Despite its compact footprint, Chesham has a substantial presence. Weighing 20 kg, it feels grounded and solid, while the open structure of the base keeps the design visually balanced rather than heavy.

Use it as a standalone occasional table beside a statement chair, or pair it with a larger coffee table to create a more layered arrangement. Chesham also works well in bedrooms, reading corners and reception spaces where a smaller surface is needed without compromising the quality of the overall scheme.
