Ascot Horse Black Aluminium Sculpture 44cm
Ascot Horse is a contemporary decorative sculpture inspired by the classic silhouette of a horse’s head. The form has been reinterpreted through an intricate openwork structure, creating a lighter, more expressive version of a traditional equestrian motif.
Crafted from aluminium and finished in deep black, the sculpture has a smooth satin surface that subtly reflects the light and emphasises the flowing lines of the design. A coordinating black base completes the monochrome composition.
A contemporary horse head sculpture with openwork detail
The defining feature of Ascot Horse is its sculptural cut-out construction. Irregular openings run through the head and neck, introducing movement and negative space while preserving the recognisable profile of the horse.
This gives the piece a more architectural and contemporary character, making it well suited to interiors where decorative objects are chosen for form and silhouette rather than traditional ornament.
Black aluminium with a refined satin finish
The deep black finish gives Ascot Horse a strong graphic presence while remaining easy to style. It works particularly well with marble, travertine, glass, dark timber and warm metallic finishes.
The satin surface keeps the sculpture sophisticated rather than overly glossy, allowing the open structure and flowing lines to remain the focus of the design.
A decorative equestrian sculpture for consoles and sideboards
At 44cm high, Ascot Horse has enough presence to stand confidently on a console table, sideboard or larger shelf without dominating the wider arrangement.
It can be styled as a standalone object or paired with artwork, books and more restrained decorative accessories. The openwork form keeps the piece visually light, even within more layered compositions.
