Albir 12 Arm Chandelier 83 cm – Wooden Bead Iron Chandelier

Albir 12 Arm Chandelier 83 cm – a statement wooden bead chandelier with timeless character

The Albir chandelier is an elegant 12 arm ceiling light designed to bring warmth, texture and decorative presence to a room. Combining a dark iron frame with beautifully distressed detailing and cascading wooden bead garlands, this large chandelier creates a refined focal point with a relaxed, collected feel. Its silhouette is graceful and layered, making it especially suited to interiors where lighting is expected to do more than simply illuminate.

With a fitting height of 115 cm and a diameter of 83 cm, Albir has impressive scale and visual impact. Including the chain, the overall drop is 187 cm, making it a superb choice for interiors with generous ceiling height. Whether styled above a dining table, in a formal living room, a grand hallway or an elegant bedroom, this chandelier introduces atmosphere, softness and a sense of understated luxury.

A 12 arm chandelier with decorative wooden beads

What makes the Albir chandelier so distinctive is the combination of its classic multi-arm structure and its richly decorative beaded detailing. The curved iron arms form a balanced and traditional chandelier shape, while swags of round wooden beads and drop-shaped pendants bring texture, movement and visual depth.

The central stem and candle cups feature a softly weathered finish that complements the natural character of the eucalyptus wood beads. This mix of materials gives the chandelier a gently aged appearance, making it ideal for homes that favour layered interiors rather than highly polished, formal schemes.

The open frame allows the decorative elements to remain visible from every angle, so the chandelier feels sculptural even when not in use. Once illuminated, the multiple light sources enhance the tonal variation of the wood beads and bring out the warmth of the aged finish.

Large chandelier for elegant living and dining spaces

Because of its generous size and twelve-light arrangement, the Albir chandelier is particularly well suited to larger rooms where a single statement fitting can define the space. Above a substantial dining table, it creates a sense of occasion and helps anchor the room. In a sitting room, it becomes a dramatic centrepiece that adds height, softness and decorative richness.

The design also works beautifully in entrance halls and stairwells, where its elongated proportions and cascading beads can be appreciated from different viewpoints. In a bedroom, it introduces romantic character and works especially well in interiors built around soft neutrals, antiques, weathered wood and natural textiles.

Materials and finish

The Albir chandelier is made from iron and eucalyptus wood. The iron frame provides the structure and elegant curve of the twelve arms, while the eucalyptus wood is used for the decorative beaded strands that give the design its distinctive personality.

The finish has an aged, artisanal appearance rather than a stark or overly uniform look. This is an important part of the chandelier’s charm. The weathered tones work beautifully with classic, country-inspired and relaxed luxury interiors, offering a more nuanced alternative to bright polished metal.

12 light chandelier with E14 fittings

The chandelier is fitted with 12 x E14 lamp holders, giving it the presence and brightness expected from a large decorative ceiling light. Candle-style bulbs are the most natural choice for the Albir design, complementing the classic arm structure and reinforcing its timeless look.

The maximum wattage is 40 watts. For a cohesive result, use matching bulbs throughout the fitting. Warm white bulbs are an especially strong choice, as they bring out the soft, earthy tones of the wood beads and help create a welcoming glow.

Where to style the Albir chandelier

This large wooden bead chandelier is highly versatile in terms of interior placement, provided the room has suitable scale. It works particularly well in:

• Dining rooms – above a large dining table as the main statement light
• Living rooms – as a decorative centrepiece in a formal or semi-formal seating area
• Entrance halls – to create a memorable first impression
• Bedrooms – especially in elegant or romantic schemes
• Stairwells and landings – where the height and decorative detail can be fully appreciated

Its combination of iron and wooden beads makes it particularly suitable for interiors with natural finishes, muted palettes and a layered decorative style.

Which interior styles suit the Albir chandelier?

The Albir chandelier is an excellent choice for French country, rustic luxe, modern farmhouse, classic, new traditional, shabby chic and relaxed Mediterranean-inspired interiors. It can also work beautifully in an eclectic home where vintage-style lighting is used to soften cleaner architectural lines.

The dark iron arms provide contrast, while the wood beads add softness and texture. This balance makes the chandelier easy to pair with natural oak, limewashed furniture, stone flooring, upholstered dining chairs, linen curtains and a palette built around ivory, taupe, beige, soft grey and muted brown.

Why choose the Albir chandelier?

If you are looking for a chandelier that feels substantial, decorative and distinctive, the Albir offers a particularly successful balance of elegance and warmth. Its twelve-light format gives it presence, while the eucalyptus wood beads introduce a gentler, more characterful finish than a conventional metal chandelier.

Rather than relying on heavy ornament alone, it achieves impact through proportion, layering and material contrast. The result is a chandelier that feels luxurious yet approachable, decorative yet timeless.

Care and styling notes

To preserve the appearance of the Albir chandelier, dust regularly with a soft dry cloth or a gentle duster, taking care around the wooden beads and decorative drops. Avoid harsh cleaning products and excessive moisture. As this is an indoor light fitting, it should be installed only in dry interior spaces.

For the most balanced look, style the chandelier in a room with enough clearance around the fitting so that the full silhouette can be appreciated. The beaded detailing makes it especially attractive when viewed from a distance, so it performs best where it has space to breathe.
